Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

Office Assistant's primary responsibility is to effectively utilize administrative skills to help facilitate and maintain optimum occupancy of the property. Office Assistant must cooperate with all departments in completing all assigned tasks.

Office Assistant is responsible for the following:

  1. Help to complete all lease paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
  2. Assist with current resident lease renewals and type up new leases promptly.
  3. Help to complete all necessary move-out paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
  4. Maintain company customer service standards. Clearly and effectively assistthe leasing staff and Management with department needs in a kind andupbeat manner.
  5. Other general office duties such as typing, filing, answering phones, and assisting with weekly reports.
  6. Perform additional duties, responsibilities or projects as assigned.
  7. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
  8. Help with Marketing initiatives using a variety of Social Media platforms.

The Office Assistant must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. She/He should be able to communicate effectively and professionally with residents, fellow associates, vendors, and supervisors. The Office Assistant must be people oriented, upbeat, well organized, exhibit a positive personality, and excel in a supportive role. She/He must be familiar with all social media sites and possess solid computer skills. Previous customer service skills required.
