Purchasing Clerk

Description Our client, a custom home builder located in the Houston Galleria area, is currently in need of a Purchasing Specialist on a contract to possible full-time basis. This role does not require any previous Purchasing experience! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to pursue a career in supply chain/procurement or work in the construction/home building industry. In this this role you will work with the purchasing team tosource different materials, get quotes on different material and work with theteam on other projects. Requirements To be considered for this role you must have the following experience:

2 years of experience working in inside sales, purchasing or supply chain

Intermediate Excel skills

Interest in working with a purchasing team

Strong attention to detail and ability to double check your own work
