Medical Laboratory Technician

Actalent is currently hiring for a Medical Laboratory Technician in the North Houston area!Job Description:Run controls

Routine testing: Lipids, CBC, chemistry, urinalysis, and microscopic exam of vaginal wet preps

Quality control and processing

Making reagents

Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing

Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation

Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls

Qualifications:Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or a related science

Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory testing experience is required

Experience in Chemistry and Hematology

MLT Certification is strongly preferred (ASCP or AMT)

Additional Information: Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with rotating weekends as needed
