- Provide accurate and timely support by monitoring, entering and analyzing master data, key data and master relationship data while ensuring that data is accurate, complete, secure and reliable to support the business needs of the company.
- Essential Functions: Develop and implement a vision for the global Master Data Management function with appropriate strategies that support the short and long term operational objectives.
- Manage, enter and update master data as needed, this data includes but not limited to Customer Mater, Item Master, Vendor Master, Bill of Materials (BOMs), routings, product sourcing assignments, units of measure, product categories, etc.
- Identify and engage in master data management training sessions for domestic and international users.
- Provide leadership to users of Master Data and continuous improvement projects for Master Data Act as the primary liaison for business units, to assure compliance to the design of master data maintenance processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global and regional user groups and functions worldwise.
- Provide support to global supply chain stakeholder as required. Ensure the master data policies and processes exist and are effective and that all stakeholders understand and follow these policies and processes.
- Ensure the accuracy of master data both by enforcing processes and through reporting and monitoring.
- Overseeing and ensuring business standards compliance and acting as change agent to obtain compliance. Develop business requirements/specs related to new data management processes/technology including collaboration and interfaces with 3rd party systems to keep master data accurate and in sync across various systems.
- Work with stakeholders to resolve issues related to master data.
- Ability to manage external consulting firms supporting application development.
- Must possess excellent ability to work cross-functionally.
- Working knowledge and experience with HIPAA/HITECH guidelines and compliance.
- Must demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Ability to be flexible and welcoming to change.
- Knowledge and experience with Planning/Scheduling. Must be able to handle multiple projects and priorities in order to meet required deadlines.
- Must have the capability to adhere to a high level of professionalism by demonstrating ethical behavior.
- Must be able to work with others in contributing to the overall success of the company.
- Strong organizational, oral/written communication, interpersonal and agency/client relationship skills.
- Proficient and accurate with various software.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to interact effectively with all people.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Knowledge of Word Processing. Strong knowledge and experience with SAP.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel in creating complex spreadsheets using formulas, macros and defining output to meet specific needs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Bachelor Degree in Master Data Management related field or equivalent work experience.
- 1-4 years experience required.
