The Systems Administrator will support existing IT systems and bring new ideas to help us optimize our cloud first IT model. The Systems Administrator will work closely with IT, external departments, and service providers to design, implement, and ensure quality delivery of services. Responsibilities- Integrate enterprise applications with cloud services to ensure seamless delivery of data to all users
- Provide tier 3 support for issues escalated from the helpdesk
Administer and provide support for SharePoint, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and Single Sign On
Assist with project implementations for Azure Site Recovery, Docker or related solution, auto-scaling and load balancing, and Azure AD
- Experience automating processes using Powershell scripts
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, and Active Directory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience managing IT projects
Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and maintaining server systems and network infrastructure related issues
- High availability, scalability and performance optimization (e.g. distributed deployments, HTTP traffic Load balancing, content caching, data replication)
- Disaster recovery implementations
- Knowledge and experience with cloud-based architectures and delivery models - Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure experience
Identity and access management (Active Directory, LDAP)
Solid understanding and experience in system/network security
- Bachelor's degree in computer technology or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of progressive experience in system administration and architecture
- 3+ years related work experience with Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS Windows, Virtual Machines, Server OS and Cloud architecture
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel periodically (California, Florida, Hawaii); travel expectation less than 10%
