The Morgan Group is looking for someone to develop our Information Systems team, with an initial focus on the design, planning and deployment phases of our Microsoft 365/Azure Cloud Migration and Collaboration Projects.After the initial implementation, the ideal candidate will help develop Morgan’s short- and long-term technology needs separate from basic IT needs/maintenance.We are looking for an individual who will be able to develop and maintain a strong working relationship with our executive team, department heads and IT consultants to be a key Information Systems resource to work with them to develop and support our cloud computing resources to help improve efficiencies, ease of collaboration and to achieve our strategic objectives.Throughout and after the completion of these initial projects, you will be responsible for providing the on-going development, maintenance, and support for these platforms along with a continued focus on introducing future cloud solution enhancements. The Morgan Group is looking for someone to develop our Information Systems team, with an initial focus on the design, planning and deployment phases of our Microsoft 365/Azure Cloud Migration and Collaboration Projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Strong Project Management and Documentation Skills
  • Experience in managing Microsoft Azure services including, but not limited to Azure AD user management both for Office 365, ADFS, and third-party services.
  • Management of Project Management Platforms such as Wrike or Asana
  • Collaborate with software vendors to integrate our industry specific accounting systems and applications with our cloud services to ensure seamless delivery of data to our clients and users.
  • Administer and provide expertise and support with an emphasis on SharePoint, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and SSO
  • Administer Azure AD, including authentication, cloud sync, conditional access, device management, domain services, external identities, identities governance and protection
  • Provision, manage, and monitor storage accounts
  • Setup new tenants and subscriptions in Azure
  • Install and configure SQL server on Azure Virtual Machines, including High Availability setup
  • Configure Azure Backup for Azure Virtual Machines and SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines
  • Create Azure SQL databases, migrate on-premise SQL databases to Azure SQL
  • Configure and test Azure Site Recovery for Virtual Machines in a data center and across Azure zones
  • Migration of on-premise Virtual Machines to Azure using Azure Migrate or Azure Site Recovery
  • Estimate cost for resources in Azure subscription, monitor and analyze Azure costs
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure to identify areas of improvement, reliability, cost savings, etc.

Qualifications:
  • Ambitious self-starter
  • US work authorization
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Cloud and Windows legacy environment experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related degree
  • Strong understanding of networking, identity management, monitoring, logging, vulnerability management, public and private DNS
  • Proficient in Windows server operating systems and Windows Active Directory
  • Experience with performance analysis, troubleshooting and remediation techniques
  • Experience with design and deployment of Azure Cloud and Hybrid Cloud IaaS
  • Experience with Azure service levels for compute, storage and BC/DR
  • Experience with the configuration of Microsoft Azure environment and Microsoft SQL Server migration to Azure SQL
  • General knowledge of accounting systems and applications.
  • Experience with Project Management Platforms such as Wrike or Asana
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organization and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of latest technological advances that could benefit company
  • Knowledge of all functions and roles within IT department
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
