Accountant - Remote Position

• Responsible for preparing and analyzing general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
• Responsible for preparing and analyzing journal entries and assembling the proper supporting documentation
• Create/maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) on all processes
• Support client inquiries and information requests within our service level agreement
• Support month end, quarter end and year end closing and other key processing deadlines
• Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining positive team morale
• Actively train on primary and back-up responsibilities

• Associate’s (2 year) degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required or 2 years of experience in a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Must be able to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication in a professional manner
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively cross–organizationally and cross-culturally
• Ability to work independently and within tight deadlines
• Ability to adapt to ever changing environments
