FP& A Manager/Supervisor

Description Our client in Fort Worth is in search of Manager Financial Planning and Management Reporting for a 12 month contract. Role is currently hybrid (Office/Remote).The Manager Financial Planning & Management Reporting position leads the financial consolidation, reporting and planning. She/he will also be responsible for the interface with the Global Finance team to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and deadlines. The incumbent liaises with the Business Unit Finance Directors and the Manager Finance Controller US to prepare risk analysis and provides recommendations for the attainment of financial goals.Essential Functions:Leads the preparation and submission of rolling forecast for North America’s $1.4 billion business - Scope includes sales, P& L and other financial statements

Change agent; leads internal stakeholders on defining and improving standards, processes and systems utilized for financial planning and reporting

Contributes to preparation of planning guidelines; identify opportunities for alignment across the organization in order to meet corporate financial goals

Leads MBP financial information flow in accordance to agreed timelines

Prepares deck for financial section of the MFR monthly meeting

Owns timely and accurate submissions of financial plans and reporting to Global Headquarters, responsible for the communication to explain variances and trends

Aligns with Sr Director Financial Planning on final rolling forecast submission

Responsible for risks and variance assessment, prepares and communicates recommendations to attain financial objectives

Leads preparation of presentations for senior management

Prepares variance analysis materials

Minimum 10 years of related financial planning and reporting experience within a corporate environment with full or partial ownership of P& L/Functional Budget

Experience to include planning, monthly closing, reporting, cost controlling, accounting

Related experience within the CPG (consumer packed goods), wholesale and/or pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred.

Must demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel techniques and statistical analysis; experience with “Vlookups”/ Pivot Tables.

Experience with Oracle, Hyperion Planning, and/or Cognos preferred.

Must have experience fully owning financial processes including planning, controlling and/or reporting

Strong communication skills, must demonstrate ability to influence senior management; comfortable speaking to individuals at all levels
