Hiring Youth Monitors in Fort Bliss, TX

We have contract positions for Youth Monitors located in the El Paso, TX area.

The Youth Monitor assures the safety and security of unaccompanied minors, 13 - 17 years of age, placed in one of the US government temporary housing facilities. Facility Hours of operation are 24/7. Available shifts are included below.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain a positive and safe atmosphere in the temporary housing environment.

Remain vigilant while observing unaccompanied minors by never leaving them unattended or out of sight.

Keep supervisor informed of needs and potential problems in assigned areas.

Maintain confidentiality and privacy standards of service-partner protected health information and other applicable information and material according to agency and center policies and applicable regulations and laws, including HIPAA.

Requirements:

Must be a US Citizen

Bilingual Spanish preferred, not required

HS Diploma or Equivalent

Must be able to stand for entire duration of shift (8-hours)

Must be able to work over-time, weekends if needed; facility is open 7 days a week, 24/7.

Candidates must pass a thorough background screening that includes Criminal/Civil court searches for all previous addresses in the last seven years.

Medical Experience (CPR, First Aid, etc.)

Shifts available:

1st shift - 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM -Starting pay $19/hour

2nd shift - 1:45 PM - 10:15 PM -shift differential 5% 2nd shift

3rd shift - 9:45 PM - 6:15 AM -shift differential 10% 3rd shift
