We have been business for over 15 years, locally owned and operated company.

The dispatcher coordinates and manages the scheduling of drivers to ensure products and goods are picked up and delivered in a timely manner. They receive calls for truck services and utilize the driver assets to arrange the pickups and deliveries for customers. They maintain contact with the driver fleet throughout their routes to monitor their progress and to troubleshoot any problems that may arise along the way. They relay information to customers to keep them informed of delivery dates and time estimates. They assure that all customer needs are met by the driver team in the most efficient manner.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assure operations performs in a safe & efficient manner.

Understand all aspects of the operational specifications of drivers, equipment, and systems.

Document activities throughout the day, ensuring all items are accurately entered.

The ability to work and train CDL- A Drivers.

Ability in a team environment. 2- 3 team.

Making sure all pick-up and deliveries are done on time.

Ability to think analytical for process improvement.

Promotes a team environment in all duties.

Ensure all required documentation is complete, authorized, and submitted in a timely manner.

Computer knowledge , scanning faxing, and photocopying. The ability to work off of emails and TMS software.

Maintain records as instructed. Pre/Post Inspections, Logs, Trip Reports, Fuel Receipts, Dispatch Logs, Customer Reports, Payroll)

Attends and participates in meetings as required.

Maintains excellent customer relations. Acts in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET:

The ability to pass a background check along with a Motor Vehicle Records check.

Computer knowledge. Emails, Scanners, Photocopies etc.

Must have a vehicle.

Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and communicates clearly and effectively.

Exercises good judgment when performing duties.

Prepares and maintains excellent records (both paper and technology-based).

Maintains a professional appearance and promotes a positive image of the company. Office attire must be business casual.

Available and willing to work on-demand for emergencies.

Must have legal work authorization. Must have a reliable car.

Compensation $40K-$50K , plus benefits.
