Description: Flagship merchandising support staff are key to the success of the Powell St. store as they support delivery of unique interactive experiences central to the Flagship mission. The merchandising support staff generates profitability by enhancing experiences that boost willingness to recommend, lead "Takeover" experiences, and amplify premier merchandising that is central to the success of the store.

Business Need/Job Descriptions: Flagship merchandising support staff store operations including audit, merchandising and "Tent-pole Takeover" execution. This team will be responsible review and maintenance of all store merchandising, and guiding customer's store walk-through. The team makes sure time sensitive tasks are complete during "Tent-pole Takeovers" and support interactive experiences throughout the run of show.

Flagship merchandising support staff responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Store Merchandising
  • Daily store open and closing merchandising checklist
  • Devices are fully functional
  • Refill empty pegs & displays
  • Keep displays clean and well organized
  • Verify all video is playing correctly on all screens
  • Verify all audio content is correct and playing at a correct volume
  • Oversee and maintain store merchandising plan-o-gram
  • Report/ Escalate issues as needed

Experience Maintenance:
  • Host and guide customers through special experiences as needed including AR/VR installations, Selfie management for special installations, other guided experiences as needed.
  • Reset and Tentpole installations and deinstallations;
  • Support after hours tentpole and special experience installations;
  • Provide on-site support of experience maintenance and escalations of issues;

Event support:
  • Staff will provide support for special events
  • Night before event day preset
  • Event staffing as needed and event breakdown;
  • MSM dress code includes branded shirts BUT they are not to dress in team colors so that customers will not mistake them for Retail Sales Consultants
  • MSMs will work 40 hours per week.
  • All Schedule changes and requests for OT must be approved by the manager
  • MSMs primary role is to host experiential retail and manage visual merchandising throughout the store
  • MSMs secondary role is the support special events as directed by the event team
  • MSMs are not store greeters and can not sell product or merchandise. They must handoff all sales to a Retail Sales Consultant
