IT Systems Analyst

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an IT Systems Analyst for a Full Time assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Dallas, TX. Responsibilities :

• Responsible for Tier 1 and 2 support using strong analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to help identify, communicate and resolve system and web application related issues.
• Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
• Solves moderate to complex problems; takes a new perspective to solve a business or technical problem.
• Maintains knowledge database and call tracking database to enhance quality of problem resolutions.
• Works in a team setting, sharing information and assisting others with calls.
• Analyze and solve problems related to Web and data applications
• Perform software development and testing
• Develop project documentation and artifacts
• Support customer requests and incident management
• Assist with project planning estimation and design
• Contribute to Knowledge Management and Operational improvements

• Technical experience; Java programming, SQL queries, and some Cloud knowledge.
• Project experience; implementing multiple software development projects using Waterfall or Agile
• Operations experience; Web application support and maintenance
• Testing experience; Web and data application
• Other skills: problem solving, analysis, communication
