A Dallas company is looking for a Salesforce Applications Developer for full time permanent position.

SUMMARYThe Salesforce Applications Developer will gather requirements, design, implement, and document platform enhancements for the company's Salesforce Platform. The Developer is expected to be a subject matter expert, and offer the project team useful insight regarding system use and capabilities. The Developer will work on the Salesforce CRM platform to create and enhance Salesforce and Force.com applications. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Salesforce configuration, development, and systems integrations. The individual must be capable of understanding complex data objects and data models. The candidate must have a diverse technology background, excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills, and be customer service oriented.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop custom Salesforce applications from solution design for project solutions related to the CRM portfolio of applications.
  • Develop custom interfaces between Salesforce and the CRM portfolio of applications and systems.
  • Analyze, review and modify existing programs as well as design and write new applications.
  • Integrate design interfaces that promote efficiency.
  • Prepare solutions using Salesforce APEX, Force.com, Salesforce1, Visual Studio .NET and all versions of the .NET Framework.
  • Maintain and write code in Microsoft and Salesforce based languages including APEX as well as industry markup online languages including HTML and XML, JSON, etc.
  • Design, code and test software components to specifications and in consultation with Salesforce Applications Architect and/or Software Development Manager.
  • Lead root cause analysis and evaluate alternatives.
  • Solve complex technical problems involving multiple disciplines for unique and frequent problems that involve the development of targeted solutions.
  • Create, debug and optimize stored procedures, views, triggers and functions.
  • Assist in the formulation and definition of system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop and/or modify moderately complex systems.
  • Identify new ways to utilize technology for productivity and efficiency towards the company’s bottom line.
  • Perform other various duties as assigned.
  • Provide customer service by responding to customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Serve customers by maintaining our philosophy of going above and beyond, supported by a value proposition that every situation will be handled in a timely manner.
  • Represent Company interests with the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
  • Partner with development teams across multiple lines of business to design solutions using industry and company enterprise standards.
  • Maintain and create project documentation.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: · Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience · At least 2+ years of relevant work experience

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
  • The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-2+ years’ of directly related development experience in Salesforce is required.
  • 3+ years’ .Net development is required.
  • Salesforce Developer certification is strongly desired.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus.
  • Oil and Gas, Logistics experience desired.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a customer-friendly attitude. Must be comfortable communicating and supporting employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a highly visible, fast-paced environment independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
