JOB SUMMARY

CBRE Global Investors - Americas is seeking Analysts to provide analytical and transactional support in the acquisition, asset management, and portfolio management of debt and equity investments across multiple property sectors.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, underwriting, due diligence, valuations, budgeting and reforecasting, hold / sell analysis, and investor presentations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the team in underwriting and analyses of investment opportunities

Develop and monitor regional investment pipeline

Present rationale for recommended investment pursuits to Directors or Originators

Participate in the development of pro forma business plans by working with third parties and the Asset Management Team

Draft and create a large variety of analyses and relevant documents including discounted cash flow models, sale and lease comparable review, sensitivity analysis, capital expenditure schedules, and other ad hoc analysis

Provide valuation support using the following approaches : income, sales comparison and replacement cost, as appropriate

Contribute to and manage the drafting of Investment Committee materials

Coordinate and manage the due diligence and closing efforts including review of operating statements, third-party reports and closing statements

Other projects and responsibilities as needed by the team

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and / or training to co-workers.

May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and / or project.

QUALIFICATIONS

Undergraduate degree in finance, economics or business administrationUp to 3 years of related experience in financial analysis / real estate transactionProficient in ARGUS Enterprise and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present informationAbility to participate and / or lead assignments with other team membersDemonstrates initiative, leadership, team building skills and ability to meet deadlinesHighly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, team environment CERTIFICATES and / or LICENSES

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.

Ability to effectively present information to supervisors and finance management.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires knowledge of basic financial terms, concepts and accounting principles.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret financial information and the ability to accurately explain / report activity in verbal and written communications.

Requires intermediate analytical skills.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

Computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Strong

work ethic and adaptable.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
