Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of overall IT experience with a focus on Business Analysis, Technical Writing, and/or Project Management experience.
  • 3+ years of ServiceNow BA experience including requirements gathering, building/documenting User Stories, document processes, etc.
  • Proficient with Integration Hub

  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with third party systems
  • Some previous experience with billing, ordering, or financial systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work closely with stakeholders, technical teams, business leaders/executives, third party companies.

Responsibilities: Under limited supervision, provides a deep understanding of ServiceNow products and services along with the strong capability to translate complex information to a simplified, professional content that is easily understood by the target audience. This hybrid (BA/PM) position will require working closely with various departments to gather project requirements from subject matter experts to develop, organize, technical specifications, and process documentation. Awareness and implementation of industry best practices will be continual part of the role responsibilities.

  • Incorporate feature requests into ServiceNow product roadmap.
  • Meet with application owners, end user groups, and Billing/Orders team to gather requirements.
  • Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria.
  • Plan releases, upgrades and write acceptance tests.
  • Refine methodology based on results and industry standards.
  • Follow progress of work and address production issues during implementation
  • Creates, executes, and produces ServiceNow project work plans
  • Directs ServiceNow project team meetings to gather and provide information as well as provie guidance to team members.
  • Regular status reports for team members and supervisors
  • Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential risks, and devises
  • Contingency plans to minimize exposure and risk on the project
  • Maintains knowledge of concurrent project critical paths and dependencies
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope; identifies and resolves issues and conflicts within the project team; effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a clear and timely fashion
  • Conducts project postmortems and creates recommendation reports in order to identify opportunities for upcoming projects
  • Manages resource conflicts, effective communications, and stakeholder involvement, as

    appropriate
  • Works with financial stakeholders to support budget construction, as required, controlling expenditure to achieve financial objectives
  • Defines, applies and reports on appropriate metrics for project control
  • Develops best practices and tools for project execution and management.
