Job Description Our client builds a PaaS for Identity Access Management. They are seeking a Staff/Lead level Site Reliability Engineer. They're a public company and are fully remote. The engineering department considers their culture more like a start-up with the stability of an enterprise and prioritize work culture with working from home. You'll become an integral part of these initial stages of the department. They desire an engineer with a development background in either Java, Python or Go - this will arm with a strong understanding of how applications behave in containerized environments. Currently, they work on AWS Native applications with a small contingent footprint in Azure. Some of the immediate initiatives will be establishing SLO's (Currently using Noble 9) and bench marks for reliability. They are going to build out a new Observability platform for the service teams to utilize in real time. Noting that this role is highly focused on monitoring and reliability - a background in Prometheus, Data Dog, and Grafana will be helpful - but ultimately, a candidate who can help establish the technical and tooling direction for the group will be huge! This is a full-time role that will be 100% remote. Required Skills & Experience

  • BS in Computer Science
  • 7+ years of SRE or DevOps experience
  • Strong thought leadership experience
  • Java, Python, or Go development
  • Understanding of Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS/Azure
  • Background with reliability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Data Dog, etc.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelors or Masters is a plus
  • Security industry experience is a plus
