Application Support (Linux environment) 100% Remote 18 month contract OR Contract-to-Hire

Motion Recruitment is partnered with an innovative global software consulting company to identify a seasoned Java Developer with Production Support experience to add to their team. In this role, you will be responsible for full stack development in a cloud environment focused on enhancements, modifications, new code and support. Come be a part of the future by creating applications that touch virtually (no pun intended) everyone on the planet! Here, you will be working in all the "hot" areas of technology - IoT, Big Data, Social Media, Big Commerce, communications

Required Experience
  • Min 3 years of Production Support experience of online applications
  • Linux / Unix command line and scripting experience
  • SQL & PL/SQL
  • Strong communications skills
  • Plus: Python or Shell Scripting experience
  • Performance monitoring experience using Dynatrace or similar
