Job Tittle: Service Desk Lead/Infrastructure Support LeadLocation: DALLAS, TXContractStart Date: ASAPDuration: 2+ years ITIL Service Management, Major Incident Management, Technical skills Should have had operational exposure to technologies from an infrastructure and application standpoint Operational knowledge of servers storage databases virtualization and networking technologies on the infrastructure side with an exposure to ECOMMERCE and retail applications would be strongly preferred Exposure to monitoring tools like SCOM NewRelic DataDog and TIDEL would be strongly preferred Provide 1st 2nd level problem resolution support for system job errors communication failures hardware failures other processing anomalies Must be savvy with running reports from ITSM tools like Cherwell ServiceNow etc. on SLAs for response and resolution and also from monitoring tools on availability utilization downtime etc. would be a preferred skill Any tribal knowledge possessed in configuring alerts on SCOM NewRelic and DataDog would be an added advantage Perform scheduled and special requests for jobs backups restore s and media Investigating and escalating any and all alerts or warnings within the monitoring and alerting toolset Comfortable with starting and stopping applications or application components upon direction and approval from authorized personnel Should have the ability to relate issues to current changes that are executed Functional skills Must have experience as a Critical Incident Manager and possess an aptitude to own drive and operationally align incidents with technology Should have sound k knowledge in ITIL service operations and service transition modules from an incident management and change management perspective Must have had the experience of leading tracking and managing bridge calls for P1 and P2 INCs cutting across technologies Must have excellent stakeholder management skills with exemplary verbal and written communication skills in parallel Record details of issues and as necessary escalate appropriately to support groups defined levels of management Oversee a written turnover log and handoff of shift events.
