RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Desktop Support in Dallas, TX.

Summary:The client is seeking an IT Desktop Support to help deploy desktops onsite for client Go-Lives. The candidate will need to be on-site and work well in a team environment with an adaptable attitude. Computer certifications are a plus!

Desktop Consultation: Desktop Support offers pre-purchase assistance for computers and hardware to ensure that they will work on the Mason network and will not be a security risk

Hardware: Desktop Support will install, set up, relocate, and configure hardware, such as computers, printers, and scanners Set up and manage user accounts and permissions to consent access to a network Upholding and testing security, blocking unapproved access As a IT Desktop Support, you will be monitoring day to day computer performance Provide first level diagnosis for potential resolution for hardware and software issues Provide users with status of open tickets upon request Face-to-Face and phone/virtual support with sales agents up to Executive team members Receive and re-deploy employee equipment daily Assist with desktop/laptop imaging and audio/visual requests, as needed IT Desktop Supports perform equipment moves or equipment upgrades, as required Perform physical repairs for equipment failures Execute physical inventories, reconciliation, record keeping daily

REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience with remote and on-site support/phone support as needed Excellent communication and team player Ability to ramp up quickly with little direction Proven experience working under pressure requiring high attention to detail and communication
