Job description
Open Position: Logistics Associate
Division: Logistics Department
Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus).
EXPERIENCE OR SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
1. 3-5 Years experience as an inventory / quality control
2. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Power Point, Excel and Outlook; ability to learn and use internal software programs
3. Must have authorization to work in the United State as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
4. Ability to follow instructions exactly and accurately. Excellent communication and organizational skills
5. High level of accuracy and attention to detail
POSITION ACCOUTABILITIES
1. Capability of setting and maintaining priorities and objectives
2. Follow quality control processes
3. Collaborate with manager to solve work-related problems
4. Must be aware work schedules, department goals and objectives
5. Update barcode listings
6. Update factory information
7. File invoices and credits
8. Place reorders and email them to factories
9. Match P.O.s with factory proforma invoices
10. Check factory invoices and packing lists for accuracy
11. Quality Control all shipments under the direction of the Logistics Manager
12. Receive shipments into system
13. Setup new models and place orders to factories
14. Create tray cards for reps’ sample bags
15. Coordinate new model releases to rep’s
16. Maintain preproduction samples and preproduction warehouse
17. Update and maintain product warehouses
18. Run and distribute end of month reports
19. Process Jimmy Crystal repair orders
20. Communicate (via email) clearly and concisely with factories
21. Mark packing list for incoming shipments to communicate high priority items for receiving department.
22. Other duties as assigned.
