We are currently offering a sign on bonus

Payout schedule:

End of 30 days: 50%

End of 90 days: 50%

1st shift: $1,000

2nd shift: $1,250

3rd shift: $1,500

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct preventive maintenance on production equipment; troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment. Test production equipment by visually inspecting, monitoring, and adjusting chemical processing pumps and associated equipment.

  • Ensures that manufacturing equipment is functional and supplies are ready. Ensures that all pneumatic processing equipment is functional and ready for use for the chemical process operators and technicians in an explosion proof environment.

  • Assemble new steel and poly (plastic) 350 gal tote tanks and make ready for the production group. Perform periodic in-house UN/DOT inspections and testing on company fleet of tote tanks. Make repairs and adjustments as necessary.

  • Order and inventory critical spare parts needed for production equipment on a weekly basis and conduct general facility maintenance including monthly inspections and testing of all safety and ventilation equipment.

  • Minor facility and building grounds maintenance including changing light bulbs, ceiling tiles, drywall repairs, painting, and minor plant structural repairs.

  • Schedule and assist vendor personnel including, highly skilled tradesmen, minor project repairs and installations, and grounds maintenance crews.

  • This position will also be required to assist the production department with bottling, drumming, and the processing of bulk tanker trucks based on company work flow demands and will occasionally direct production work flow based on production equipment output.

  • Identify and bring opportunities for continuous process improvement to the Operation Manager’s attention.

  • Complete safety checklists and inspections on a routine monthly basis by the Safety/Risk Management Department.

  • Perform and assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

  • Technical program degree or certificate is preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of automotive, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, building facilities maintenance, or other general mechanical experience required.

  • Military, automotive mechanical, or building facilities maintenance experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English

  • Must be able to up to Push/Pull 50lbs and Lift up to 50lbs

  • Teamwork, Coordination, Organization, Planning

  • Basic math skills

  • Fork lift experience
