Sr. Accountant

Description There's currently a permanent opportunity at Robert Half for a skilled Senior Accountant to join a dynamic, innovative team in the Bedford, Texas area. As a Senior Accountant, your duties will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests

Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP

Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

Partake in various department-wide initiatives

Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management

Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations

Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process Requirements - Experience in SOX control execution/documentation

Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills

Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued

Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines

Experience with ERP systems

High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills

Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

Skilled at time management

3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

Demonstrated ability in exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills

Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

Solid understanding of multi set of books

Command of Full Cycle Accounting

Deep understanding of Great Plains (GPAC)
