- Establish IT policies, strategies, and standards for operations in US, Canada, and Mexico
- Manage and direct the US IT team and support daily business and operations in Canada and Mexico
- Develop and implement technology roadmap to support business initiatives in IIoT, cloud basedcustomer service, process automation and system integration in all functional areas
- Identify opportunities to improve IT operation efficiency and minimize risks
- Develop goals and objectives for IT team members to support daily operation and future needs
- Develop and manage annual budgets to support business and operation
- Oversees the administration and maintenance of the company's IT environment and assets, including:
- Infrastructure (servers, switches, routers, and SAN)
- Network and security (SD-WAN, LAN, active directory, and firewall)
- Applications (Citrix, SAP, Exchange, and VMware)
- SAP: application change management and approves release to production
- Telephone system, cell phone system and associated contracts
- Manage local, long distance and SIP telephony contracts
- Engineering software and applications (Catia, Solidworks, 3DExperience, and Smarteam)
- Digital Content Platforms (eCommerce, Website - WordPress CMS)
- Oversees troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and providessupport when necessary
- Help desk (IssueTrak)
- Oversee information risk management
- Negotiate and maintain IT related service contracts, software licenses, supervise hardware and softwarepurchases for operations in US, Canada, and Mexico
- Support corporate IT initiatives and system integration
- Other responsibilities, projects and duties as required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Programming (required), master's degree (preferred), or related field required
- Minimum of 10 years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and training
- Minimum of 5 years previous experience managing complex projects and IT staff
- US citizenship is required for work on government contracts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Thorough understanding of CIS Leadership Principles, programs, policies, activities, and procedures
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work
- Ability to explain technical problems and offer solutions to those without technological training
