Required skills:

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Experience delivering software in a Scrum development process
• Core Java, distributed services, REST web services, HTTP, concurrency, Spring frameworks
• Proficiency in Java 8 or later and understanding of JVM
• Experience with CI/CD, unit testing, and functional testing
• Experience with Github and Jira

Preferred skills:

• Experience with relational database systems like Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Java LNP and performance tuning
• Knowledge of Systems and Networking – TCP and IP, Switching, Routing, Firewalls, Load Balancing
• Experience building distributed, fault-tolerate and highly scalable systems
• Experience working with NoSQL data stores like Cassandra or MongoDB
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka
• Experience with asynchronous, event based systems
