The property serves low-income senior citizens through a HUD subsidized program. PTO, health insurance and 401k are available.

Job Category: Office Assistant Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential duties & responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Answer telephone, greet walk-ins and provide basic leasing/eligibility information Assist in move in/out physical inspections of apartments.

Update rent changes for tenants as notified by manager.

Collect monthly rents and do bank deposits.

Maintain monthly Rent Rolls and balance with OneSite tenant ledgers, close month and advance date and post scheduled billing.

Generate late rent notices and keep Occupancy Manager updated on late rents.

Generate work orders and maintain monthly log using OneSite and Mobile Facilities.

Do filing, both paper and digital.

Job Requirements

Education, Training & Experience Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to interact smoothly with tenants and workers, and perform day-to-day operations.

High school education or equivalent required, college preferred

Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience Training in some or all of these areas a plus: Onesite/ResMan, HUD portal specifically the Real Estate Assessment Center, HUD Handbook 4350.1, Enterprise Income Verification (EIV), SAVE System

Strong management skills; professionalism; good organization; leadership; good communication and interpersonal skills as well as being detail-oriented

Ability to read & interpret documents, basic math ability & reasoning ability

Requires typing, 10 key, and computer proficiency skills

Pre-employment drug testing (we also do random testing) and background check required

Proficient with Microsoft word and excel

Knowledge of Onesite and/or ResMan software is an advantage
