Hiring Parents: Social Media Savvy Local Community Lead, 5-10hrs/week

Startup tech company in the healthcare space is hiring local community marketing leads in the Greater Austin area. Join a team of parent community leads to promote the company’s services and mission within local social media groups, local postering and other event staffing. This role is fully remote and ideal for a parent looking for part-time or side hustle work in their local community.

Our launch strategy requires a hyper-local presence and knowledge of your community and parent networks. Super bonus points if you live in or adjacent to one of the following communities:

- Cedar Park

- Round Rock

- Hyde Park

- Cherrywood

- West Lake Hills

- Pflugervile

- Allandale

- Barton Hills, Barton Creek

- Rosedale

- Tarrytown/Windsor Road/Old Enfield/Bryker Woods/Pemberton Heights/Old West Austin

- Rollingwood

- Spanish Oaks

While the work is marketing, no direct marketing experience is required. The ideal candidate is:

- A parent looking for a 5-10 hours/week

- Social media savvy (Facebook groups, Reddit and similar), experienced with local Parent/Mom/Dad Facebook Groups

- Located in/adjacent to priority communities above

- Someone with exposure to/knowledge of pediatric healthcare, therapies and specialties

- Familiar with using the Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets Good Drive, etc.)

- Able to staff a local event in your area (often nights or weekends) for a few hours once or twice a quarter

Compensation is an hourly rate with a commitment of 5-10 hours per week. In addition to the hourly rate, this role is eligible for cash bonuses based on your activities tied to business growth.
