JOB SUMMARY:
As a Site Superintendent, no two days are the same! A typical day will include the following responsibilities:
Providing training and direction, with patience and grace, to volunteers, AmeriCorps, and partner families on building techniques and daily tasks.
Maintaining site safety through safe practices, documentation and ensure that all volunteers, partner families, and staff comply with worksite safety measures.
Performing “Final Walkthrough” with Homeowner and complete“Final Walkthrough” punch list within two weeks of walkthrough.
Hands on learning in Residential Construction
Predictable work hours.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A valid Texas Driver’s License and current automotive liability insurance
At least 2 years of direct construction experience is preferred
Must be able to work with volunteers, skilled and non-skilled workers with a positive and compassionate attitude.
General understanding of building trades, such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and how each impacts the other.
Comfortable with public speaking to groups of about 30 people.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks appropriately.

$46,500 commensurate with education and experience
