Job Description

Are you looking for a great opportunity with a growing company? Broadridge is hiring! We’re seeking an Automation Developer to work on our stellar QA team. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with QA teams while improving our tools and processes to support Broadridge’s clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Improve and report on the quality of software product functionality and deployment
  • Design and implement .NET, Angular and Silverlightautomatedtest cases
  • Execute, analyze and debugautomatedtests and test results vs web applications
  • Work with theautomationteam to improve the coreautomationframework
  • Work closely with the development and QA teams to improve the existing tools and process
  • Target the end goal of having as few touch points as possible between code commit and gated production deployment
  • Remove risks to server up-time and application mis-configuration

Qualifications:

  • 5-8+ years of QAautomationexperience, including C# and .NET
  • 3+ years with Selenium WebDriver APIautomationexperience
  • 3+ years with a unit testing framework (mstest, vstest, nunit, junit)
  • Previous experience testing web applications (ASP.NET, Angular/JavaScript, Silverlight)
  • Understanding of properly designing reusable component classes and page classes
  • Good understanding of XPath and Regular Expressions
  • Familiarity with Jira for work item management
  • Understanding of code management, branching and merging strategies
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Taking pride in work and achieving excellence
  • Experienceautomatingother types of testing, like performance, a plus
