Job Role: Node/JavaScript Developer, Client : V-Soft Consulting Location: [Austin, TX, 78753], Texas (Remote) Tax terms : C2C/1099/W2 Role : Software Engineer with Golang as a back-end language Exp: 8+ years of industry experience Job Description : Backend: Lambdas (Golang, NodeJS), EventBridge, SNS, SQS, ApiGateway, CloudFormation Database: Snowflake, MSSQL, DynamoDB Ops: CloudFormation (SAM), Honeycomb, CloudWatch, Gitlab CI What is the goal of the project? What projects or business problems with this person work on immediately if hired? Build and deploy maintainable, highly available, fault tolerant serverless applications leveraging AWS EventBridge, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, among other technologies. Design an event driven platform to expose actions in the system to other development groups for easy integration. Design APIs used by internal and external customers supporting OAuth and mTLS based authentication. Build software with an instrumentation first mindset. Leveraging tools such as Honeycomb and AWS XRay for distributed tracing and logging. Write CICD and SAM/CloudFormation scripts to continuously push your software to the cloud and provide a way to promote your code to higher environments What tools, systems, or technology proficiencies will this person need? What does the team currently use? Deep understanding of CI/CD process and tools like Git, Docker, Jenkins, Gitlab, etc Proven experience architecting continuous monitoring systems.
