Release Manager

Location: Austin, TX Description: Our client is seeking a Release Manager with a strong record of coordinating Production Deployment and improving the release process.

• Manage and mature the release and deployment processes.
• Ensure release governance is applied, communicate release status to external stakeholders, coordinate with Product Management on internal and external communication, and improve overall development and deployment pipeline.
• Coordination across multiple organizations, adhering to release schedule and business alignment. Establishing a release cadence
• Code freeze processes, scope, quality, and review sessions
• Release coordination, release tactics, and issue management.
• Establish, mature, and automate release metrics
• Process Improvement/Automation - Tools improvement, process automation, and innovation.

• 8+ years working in an enterprise software organization
• 6 - 8 years of demonstrated real-world experience with Release Management discipline and processed
• Experience with Agile & SAFe
• Experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence for Release Management activities, such as metrics gathering, managing a release train across multiple departments
• Exposure to automation efforts of several aspects of software development
