Job Description

What you’ll be doing:As a Senior Marketing Operations and Program Manager for Experian Consumer Services, Partner Solutions group, you will be responsible for building and leading the marketing operations of the team to ensure peak effectiveness and efficacy. This includes owning processes, governance, budgets, team operation model and communications, and tools to ensure the marketing organization is operating smoothly and achieving success goals on time and on budget. This person will manage key projects affecting the entire team, and will be a key factor in the sustained success and growth of the organization. This role will also manage tracking the implementation of processes, tools and metrics, initiatives, to support and improve the operations of the marketing functions within the organization.

This role requires a highly inventive individual with strong business judgment, analytical skills, execution, drive, as well as high emotional intelligence and self-motivation. You will partner across the team – with analytics, demand generation, partner marketing, product, and thought leadership with an ultimate goal of enabling excellence across everything the team does.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Support the Vice President of Marketing with communication and project management of the Marketing vision and deliver the marketing plans to support breakaway growth
  • Develop marketing organization planning process, cadence, governance, documentation, reporting and communication across marketing verticals including: demand generation, thought leadership/brand, analytics, events, and design
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and Business Insights/Analytics team to define, prioritize, and monitor key performance indicators on a quarterly and annual review cycle.
  • Own processes around budget forecasting, including monthly tracking, socialization, and implementation of processes that ensure flawless financial execution across the team.
  • Champion process improvements, best practices and knowledge sharing within the broader organization including sales teams, development & technology teams, and senior executives.
  • Define milestones, deadlines, and templates for the marketing organization with pace and level of detail required to drive marketing operational effectiveness and efficiency
  • Facilitate forums and check-adjust sessions with appropriate stakeholders to ensure accountability.
  • Advise on frameworks to synthesize strategic inputs across key marketing pillars into cohesive holistic marketing organizational strategy and goals.

Qualifications

What your background looks like:

  • 12+ years of experience in an operations role; marketing experience is a must
  • Bachelor’s in business or marketing
  • Previous experience in leading project and programs to deadline and on budget with strong project management and organizational skills
  • Fluent in data but also strategic and critical thinking skills; ability to see the “big picture” while also diving into details
  • Comfortable with complexity, and proactively seeks to identify key processes that require re-engineering.
  • Previous experience with marketing operational tools
  • Highly organized individual and disciplined with capacity to deal with multiple competing priorities, and ability to manage a fast-paced schedule
  • Resilient and constructive when faced with change, able to shift approaches when needed in response to unexpected events and circumstances.
  • Ability to communicateeffectively, concisely, and tailored to the audience, honed listening skills. Ability to establishcredibility and rapport with technical and non-technical partners.
  • Excellent verbal presentation and PowerPoint skills
  • Collaborative: Ability to collaborate and influence key stakeholders in and outside the team
  • Ability to thrive on identification of key processes to gain efficiencies, scale and actively simplifies complexity
  • Previous B2B marketing experience
  • Previous experience with managing a budget, budget reporting and PO process
