We’re looking for a strong product marketer to tell our partner-led Backup and Disaster Recovery as a Service (BaaS & DRaaS) story. We need to leverage campaigns, content, web, product launches and strategic selling initiatives to land our Veeam-powered story. Organizations today are asking value-added resellers, cloud hosting providers, managed service providers and more to build and integrate IT solutions to streamline operations, solve complex problems (like Ransomware and Disaster Recovery) and provide subject matter expertise that they simply don’t have on staff. Help us tell that story so Veeam, our partners and our customers can win together.

As a key marketer on the Service Provider marketing team, you will help drive strategies for our fast-growing Veeam Cloud & Service Provider (VCSP) partner business.This position will work closely with product management throughout launch lifecycles, product marketing to ensure the partner voice is included, campaigns and field teams to drive demand, and marketing services teams to create, update and manage web and campaign messaging, and deliverables. You'll have critical influence on messaging, positioning, web, go-to-market strategy and creative cross-functional marketing activities that appeal to technical decision-makers, executive decision-makers, and IT administrators.

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who can:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of our core products and how our service provider partners utilize them in their overall solutions
  • Be a storyteller with the capability to synthesize product features and functionality into scenario-based outcomes to align with our VCSP Use Cases for positioning to partners and end-users
  • Work in tandem with the core product marketing team to position and communicate Veeam’s products to our service provider partner ecosystem during launches, including Release-to-Manufacturing (RTM) where appropriate, and as corporate strategy and messaging evolves
  • Serve as the SME point of contact for sales enablement of the VCSP portfolio
  • Craft messaging and include key concepts around how current and potential partners leverage our products and partner with Veeam to offer BaaS & DRaaS solutions to organizations of all sizes
  • Work with sales to identify growth opportunities and drive business in emerging markets
  • Partner with campaign and marketing leads to develop strategies around recruiting new partners, activating non-transacting partners, and growing existing partners and segments of the business

Qualifications

  • 6+ years product marketing, product management experience in cloud (preferably), software or technical B2B space. Backup, recovery, security and monitoring experience is highly desired
  • Self-starter mentality who can manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and lead efforts autonomously
  • Relevant knowledge of backup, security and storage industry, including public cloud/IaaS/PaaS and multi-tenant cloud environments is preferred
  • Eager storyteller who can articulate both verbally and in writing a compelling vision
  • Ability to quickly synthesize technical content into ‘positioning’ for non-technical audiences and craft messaging that connects with both internal stakeholders, partners, and customers
  • Team player who can work across an organization to build a plan, get alignment, and execute it
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Marketing/Business Administration highly desired. MBA preferred
  • Comfortable working remotely in a distributed, highly effective global team
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
  • Willingness to work non-traditional business hours to accommodate global meetings.
