POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Architecting a new application environment similar to other environments in place today.Develop support solutions for setup, maintenance and ongoing release cycles for environmentPerforming application, systems analysis and programming on business applications software.Architecting app lication solutions, technical and business processes working directly with development, infrastructure and business teams. Lead role in the overall implementation of an end to end solution from requirements to design into execution of test plans/scenarios for system testing, performance tuning, load and stress testing in support of the defined requirements.Progressive growth in knowledge of changing hardware and software technologyWork involves overseeing the planning, scheduling, and assigning of programming projects; analyzing proposed computer applications; and providing technical programming assistance. Reviews existing application system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling and makes improvements based upon analysis of business or user requirements, procedures, business processes, or business/technical problems. Plans and assigns the work of others. Work may require contact with governmental agencies. Works under minimal supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.Oversee the coding, testing, and debugging of unit supported applications as outlined by a system’s technical and general design requirements.Oversee the development of data flow diagrams and process maps used to represent operations and data flow for unit supported applications.Oversee, serves as project lead, and participates in TxDMV enterprise projects that require coordinating, planning, and scheduling during project developmentand implementation stages.Works with internal and external customers to complete projects.Oversee the detailed analyses, designs, plans, diagrams, and verification procedures for existing and proposed unit supported applications.Schedule and assigns unit supported application tasks to programming staff.Lead design sessions to transform business requirements into general and detailed system/technical design specificationsDevelop Application standards and operating procedures for all phases of thesoftware development life cycle (SDLC).Provide technical advice and assistance in matters related to programmingactivities.Oversee and/or participates in the development and execution of enterprise level strategies and technical direction, including establishing processes and procedures for executing and maintaining the TxDMV application road map.Follow the TxDMV Change Control process and works with Release Manager toidentify risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.Lead design for application environment documenting all diagrams, workflows, integration and support processes working with development, infrastructure and business meeting the defined project requirements scope.Develop and provide necessary training and support documentation.Architecting a new application environment similar to other environments in place today.Develop support solutions for setup, maintenance and ongoing release cycles for environment.
