- You will be developing extraordinary new game experiences by bringing together great people that combine creativity, technology, and expertise to deliver new ways to play.
- This is an exciting opportunity to re-imagine a mobile game product.
- You will work at a game studio where experience design is peer to game design and art.
- As part of the XD team, you will work in close collaboration with game design, user research, art, product management, engineering and operations.
- Partner with stakeholders to set priorities and find balanced design solutions to player and business goals within technical constraints.
- Define problem spaces and lead design solutions rooted in player data (quantitative and qualitative).
- Architect player flows, screen, content and states that are intuitive and engaging while balancing player, business and technical goals.
- Craft UX artifacts (experience maps, flows, wire-frames, prototypes) to guide development and research.
- Drive innovative efforts that uncovers new value with new kinds of experiences.
- Collaborate closely with other designers to gather requirements, explore creative directions, produce prototypes and iterate based on testing results.
- Partner with the UI design lead to produce the game's visual design system that includes iconography, typography, visual hierarchy, brand expression and motion.
- Deliver high fidelity and high-quality UI screens that align with the product's experience goals, usability and accessibility standards.
- Five years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, product designer, UI designer, or similar role
- Shipped multiple mobile products and/or games
- Expert knowledge of interaction design and mobile design patterns
- The ability to present and rationalize UX design strategy and decisions to diverse audiences using these opportunities to advocate for players, share knowledge and demonstrate design thinking in action
- Strong visual design skills (i.e., composition, iconography, layout, typography, color theory)
- Great knowledge of Figma and/or Sketch, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- The ability to create low fidelity prototypes and quickly iterate based on testing results
- The ability to thrive in a team oriented, product-focused environment; you enjoy collaboration and appreciate the exchange of ideas and concepts
- A Passion for games with a solid grasp of market trends
- Experience with user research methodologies and user data analysis (quantitative and qualitative).
- Knowledge of Unity's UI system (UGUI).
