Elevate your career and become a flight fanatic with us.A Day in the Life of an Industrial Engineering InternWe are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate. From tiltrotor technology to tail sitting vehicles, our engineers work across a wide portfolio of aircraft programs. As an Engineering Intern at Bell, you can expect to learn to summarize, by significant categories, issue that affected manufacturing activity to Production supervisor, develop crew load/shop load plans and reports, & learn to estimated time value or standard in appropriate electronic systems. Learn to provide schedule variance figures to manufacturing and assist in Performance reports (weekly) explanations. Learn to implement cost reduction ideas (Method Improvements). Learn to provide Weekly Activity reports. Ensure visual factory information is always current. OUTCOMES: Time standards applications, Schedule and cost analysis, Manpower justification, Manufacturing cost savings.QualificationsWhat You Will Need
Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher with in Industrial engineering (preferred) or a major in engineering is required.
Minimum 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship.
Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship.
3.0 GPA preferred
What Will Make You Stand Out
Experience working with computer aided design (CAD) software packages, statistical analysis programs, and scripting/programming.
A passion for working hands on with materials in the automotive and aerospace industries.
Previous experience with automotive, aerospace, or transportation companies.
Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and organizational skills.
Collaborate with dedicated, enthusiastic teams where differences in experiences, backgrounds, and ideas combined with a strong passion for our products take us above and beyond flight.
Knowledge using Computer Aided Design through school or previous experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
Willingness to learn, self-motivate, and develop real skills that can be applied to future opportunities.
