At Concentra, The Software Development Analyst II reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs for new or existing systems in accordance with project plans and specifications. They are responsible for delivering quality customer service, as well as, incorporating and adhering to requirements defined by Concentra technology standards. The Analyst II’s are responsible for providing accurate and timely completion of technical development and support tasks in accordance with Information Systems standards and methodologies. Software Development Analyst II’s work under the supervision of the Manager, Software Development.

Job functions
    • Define, document, implement, and monitor production support processes for Sitecore and related applications.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement to systems and processes.
    • Manage production issues and or outages from troubleshooting through resolution.
    • Respond to critical issues and outages during business and non-business hours.
    • Review Sitecore solution, logs, and third party components to identify and solve defects, performance issues, and end of support components.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot issues specific to systems that integrate with the Sitecore solution (i.e., supporting web services, databases, etc.) and applications supported by the team.
    • Follow and improve software development best-practices such as source control management, build and deployment, etc.
    • Work with Sitecore partners and internal Infrastructure teams to ensure Sitecore environment is performant, sized appropriately (scales if applicable), and has the capacity to handle the traffic needs of the hosted sites.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement to systems and processes.
    • Provide technical guidance for software development.
    • Conducting Unit testing & automating regression testing scenarios using available toolset
    • Experimenting on new solution patterns, new tools and providing proof of concepts to Application architects
    • Ability to use monitoring tools to properly diagnose system or application issues or downtime.
    • Responsible for investigating issues/reported bugs, identifying the cause, analyzing impact and providing best possible solution.
    • Respond to and resolve user technical support issues via telephone, email, and remote access software as needed.
    • Documenting business processes business rules in Confluence.
    • Establish SLA’s for response time to events and incidents,
    • Documentation of all customer interactions in Service Now.
    • Periodic flexible work schedule.

Education/credentials
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT Related Field or equivalent work experience

Job-related experience
  • Has proficient knowledge of MVC, C#, HTML, JavaScript, SYBASE/Oracle/MS Sql Server, SQL and query language, Unix Shell Scripting, Integration Platforms, APIs.
  • Must have experience in Business Process Improvement, Problem Management/Preventive Maintenance and Analytical & Conceptual Problem Solving.
  • Experience supporting production enterprise applications.
  • Experience implementing/maintaining Sitecore solutions using Helix principles.
  • Nice to have experience working on Sitecore 8.2+.
  • Experience with Sitecore serialization tools such as Team Development for Sitecore (TDS) or Unicorn.
  • Experience using Sitecore PowerShell Extensions.
  • Experience in ADA ( Americans with Disabilities Act ) Compliance of websites is preferred
  • Requires superior teamwork skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills a must; ability to read, write, and speak in a professional manner.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Must possess a personal sense of urgency.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and adapt to changing business priorities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills are required.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
