Captain/Sailing Instructor

Looking for a Captain!

I have a 45ft Jeanneau sailboat in a youth sailing program in St Thomas USVI. I need a Captain for the summer 2021 season.

The program takes groups of kids (ages 14-18, maximum of 6) along with adult chaperones sailing around St Thomas and St John. It's a sail training program, so the kids will do all the work, sailing, cooking, cleaning, etc. In addition to sailing the kids will be snorkeling, fishing, and hiking trails and beaches on St John.

The responsibilities of the Captain is to ensure everything is done safely and to pass along your knowledge.

This is a great opportunity for someone who would rather teach kids an appreciation for sailing and the natural beauty of the USVI than deal with typical charter guests.

Pay based on experience and other compensation options available. Captain doesn't need to be full-time local, room and board can be included.
