Rejoice School of Ballet - Dance Teacher Assistant

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Assist Dance Teacher with dance classes. Assist dance teachers in ballet, tap, and modern class. Takeattendance, control student behavior, bathroom breaks, encourage students andkeep them focused.

Keep track of students points earned for each class.

Relationship building.

Demonstrate in class if you are a dancer.

Teach students how to put their dance wear back in their bag and keep dressing room neat.

Assistin cleaning studios. Usher students to and from their cars.

Required Qualifications

Dance skills helpful but not necessary. Ability to work with children.

Must be able to move around easily, sit on the floor, play with kids.

This is an off-campus position and applicants MUST have Federal Work Study and reliable means of transportation.

This is a year longcommitment. We need our TAs to commit to both fall and spring semesters. ForCovid-19 reasons, we'll only ask for a Fall 2020 commitment this year.

Required Education Must be enrolled as a current student at Belmont University. Required Experience Dance experience is appreciated, but not required.
