In this role, you’ll work with a team of fantastic collaborators who strategize and leverage their knowledge to help Microsoft win new business.As our Business Manager, you’ll drive the rhythm of the business (ROB) strategy while supporting budgeting and being part of the WWPS Business Manager community. You will be comfortable leading projects and supporting others to be successful. You will be willing and able to drive clarity and communicate big ideas in a compelling fashion. You will have the chance to be part of building out a new team and the strategic and personnel decisions that requires. The ideal candidate must be comfortable engaging with senior-leaders and with the ambiguity that is part of working in a fast-paced business like Microsoft.ResponsibilitiesServe as the trusted advisor to the GM Deal Team.

Effectively deliver the elements of the WWPS ROB required for the Deal Team & WWPS to be successful.

Plan and organize content for All-Hands meetings and offsites.

Drive ongoing forecasting for Opex, working closely with the Proposal Center of Excellence Director to ensure the team is on budget.

Track, manage and drive agreed action items.

Develop and manage organizational assets, including walking decks, team websites, SharePoint sites, aliases, and Teams channels.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 4+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roleso OR equivalent experience.

This role requires you to be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:BA/BS in Business Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Computer Science, and 5+ years’ experience in project management or budget/financial related.

Developing strong business relationships with key internal stakeholders.

Strong management skills with a proven track record of successfully driving work-group effectiveness and positive-inclusive cultures.

Experience in working across matrixed and complex business environments encompassing multiple roles and communities.

Proven communication skills and ability to effectively influence across a dynamic organization.

Experience working in distributed virtual teams.

Demonstrated collaboration and negotiation skills that result in positive outcomes for multiple stakeholders.

Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while managing through ambiguous scenarios as needed.

Strong attention to detail and excellent presentation skills.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $103,700 and $156,400.At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance.
