job summary:

This is a 99% remote position. The selected candidate will need to come in for 1-2 days to pick up equipment, go through basic training, etc. After that any training we conduct will be via Teams.

Qualified candidates should have 3+ years of experience supporting a 24/7 Operations environment. Primary responsibilities include working with existing technical and business partners to solve networking and connectivity issues. Technical experience with Windows 2012 and 2019 Server, VMWare and ITSM Tools such as ServiceNow is required. Cloud experience (AWS or Azure) and infrastructure as code are desired but not required.

responsibilities:

- Installing, supporting, and maintaining Windows 2012 & 2019 servers.

- Supporting server issues, troubleshooting, adding space, memory, resources and supporting applications.

- Work with other staff members to partner, train and mentor on common issues

- Support VMWare technology.

- Work with SEP technologies.

- Work with ITSM tools (ServiceNow)

- Be able to work with Group Policy, KVM, WSUS and SCCM technology tools.

The essential functions of this role include:

working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
working weekends

qualifications:

Experience level: Experienced
Minimum 3 years of experience
Education: High School

skills:

Network (3 years of experience is preferred)
Windows (3 years of experience is required)
VMWARE (3 years of experience is required)
Security (3 years of experience is preferred)
Cloud (1 year of experience is preferred)
