Sr. Accountant

Description A large manufacturing company located in the heart of Memphis, TN is currently looking for a SR. Accountant to join their team. Interested candidates should be able to have 5 years experience in accounting. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Oversee accounts payable and assist with receivable· Prepare financial statements and regulatory reporting documents· Analyze financial reports· Maintain account balances, bank statements and reconciliations· Assist with audits and taxes· Assist with delivery of inputs for cash flow forecasting· Prepare financial reports for taxes, regulatory agencies, and stockholders· Manage general ledger and assist month-end and year-end close processes· Assist the accounting manager in preparing documents and interpreting complicated financial information for managers, executives, and C-Suite executivesRequirements Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license a plus

5+ years of experience as an accountant

Proficient with Mircosoft Office Suite and accounting software, SAP Business One a plus

Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations

Excellent communication skills
