Position Responsibilities: Transportation Supervisor will perform the following:
  • Data Entry
  • Dispatching
  • Maintenance of Equipment
  • Routing Maintenance
  • Supervisory duties: coaching, counseling and recognition related to driver performance
  • Loss prevention and safety
  • Coverage for other shifts
  • Other duties as assigned by the Transportation Manager

Other Related Information:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Candidate must have effective communication, organizational, leadership and problem solving skills. Applicant must have good attendance and safety record. No corrective action Level 2 or higher.
Required Qualifications:Experience: 2 - 4 Years transportation or related experience including knowledge of DOT and safety regulations, along with experience in operation of computerized fleet management systems. CDL Class A preferred

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred CDL-A preferredRelevant industry experience required; Microsoft Office and AS400 a plus
