Automation Lead position in Knoxville, TN for a Long term Contract Opportunity.

Job Description:

Automation QA - Lead (hands on) MUST HAVE BOTH API & UI experience, API – RestAssured UI – Protractor is preferred
Language: Must be strong in Java
Ability to work well both in a team and individually
Experience working in all lifecycle phases on a distributed business application having separate environments for development, testing, quality assurance and production.
Demonstrated experience creating or managing test cases Demonstrated experience developing code-based automated tests. Experience making value decisions on what to test and how 8+ years experience in automated user testing of web sites or applications with Rest Assured (REST service testing) and/or Protractor will work in place of Selenium as it is an abstraction on top of Selenium Knowledge of either Java or JavaScript/TypeScript is required. Knowledge of either REST Assured or Protractor is preferred.
Hands-on experience with some database such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL Knowledge of GIT is required; experience in a continuous integration/continuous delivery environment is preferred. Familiarity with Amazon's cloud capabilities (ELBs, EC2 instances, SQS, EBS, S3) and hosting environment (regions, availability zones) is highly beneficial. Experience in digital asset management highly preferred. Moderate skill with Structured Query Language (SQL) is required.
