Maintenance Technician POSITION: Koch Foods is recruiting a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician for its production plant located in Chattanooga, TN. Koch Foods is a leading poultry processing company, specializing in quality products and customer service. Koch Foods of Chattanooga is a full, whole-bird processing plant.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment. Performs maintenance on interior and exterior of building. Contacts and schedules vendors/ contractors for necessary building repairs and emergencies that are outside of the scope of routine maintenance. Maintains a schedule of when maintenance was last performed. Works in a safe manner and recognizes unsafe behavioral patterns. Takes appropriate actions to ensure the safety of themselves and others in the building. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. The person in the maintenance A role will perform some, if not all, of the listed above job tasks. General Job duties/ tasks: All other duties as assigned. Will adhere to company animal welfare policy, and other state and local laws. Punctual, regular attendance is a requirement for this job. May be required to work some weekends.
