Job Summary :

Supervision of the daily activities of the payment posting function in the business office including but not limited to payment posting, special projects, contract rate evaluations, etc.

Essential Responsibilities :

Direct and review the payment posting process as well as develop and maintain payment posting process manual.

Responsible for timely and accurate close each month.

Perform and train on the electronic and paper payment posting process, including external process related to Memorial Exton and Mountain Management processes.

Strong understanding of PAR, non-PAR contractuals.

Correct or offset payment errors, making necessary changes to the account to accurately reflect the corrected balances.

Works wiht collection agency to post collection agency payment report monthly, as well as weekly adjustments.

Work and balance unapplied reports, balance control, and uninsured adjustments.

Track productivity and quality within the team to achieve acceptable productivity outcomes by performing periodic audits on all payments posting functions for optimum efficiency and quality.

Report any deficiencies to the Director of Business Operations in a proactive and timely manner.

Work with other Business office supervisors to ensure that processes within the business office flow appropriately and efficiently.

Education :

Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 1 year experience in the discipline OR 3 years' experience in the discipline OR Master's Degree and no experience.

Qualifications :

Five or more years' experience in finance, banking, medical payments.
