Position

Summary:

Act as the Route to Market (RTM) contact person for the customer in all requests. Perform the understand and creation of the selling process for products of the Horizontal, Secondary and Vertical production lines with the food business. Once project business is secured, coordinate the project from the beginning through final execution and installation startup at the customer. Important role for collaboration between Customers, Services and other internal departments for ultimate customer satisfaction

§ Responsible for a defined sales area for the Food Horizontal, Secondary and Vertical production lines. Within this area, identify the needs of existing and potential customers.

§ General market research in order to find further potential customers.

§ Monitoring of market trends and competitors within defined sales area.

§ Acquisition of new customers within focus region and maintaining the relationship with existing customers.

§ Be part of a KPI driven business

§ Planning and preparing of customer visits and the submission of the subsequent visit reports.

§ Support in preparation of offers.

§ Participation in and dealing with customers at trade fairs.

§ Close collaboration between the various internal departments both locally and abroad.

§ Prepare reports on all sales activities, including travel expenses, in a timely fashion

§ Manage customers, leads, opportunities within the Syntegon CRM tool

§ Support contract negotiations with the support of the PASA/GM. Receive technical support for specifications by the portfolio support teams.

§ Ensuring that the sales margins as per the sales contract are met in accordance with offers.

§ Following up on required payments as per the project payment schedule.

§ Customer centric with one face to the customer.

Qualifications

Your competencies and qualifications:

§ Strong sales experience within capital sales

§ Strong exposure/relationships within the food industry

§ Working experience with technology market leaders (high end products)

§ Knowledge of Horizontal, Secondary and Vertical Packaging in the food industry

§ Excellent customer management skills, strong interpersonal skills.

§ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

§ Experienced in value selling techniques.

§ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

§ Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales

§ Computer skills (MS Office MS projects).

§ Travel readiness, both domestic, regional and international, up to 60% of time.
