Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven National Business Development who thrives in a busy and fast paced environment to join our mlcoa team. Reporting to the National Account and Sales manager - mlcoa, you will be responsible for establishing this new critical senior role designed to support the growth of the mlcoa business.Working in conjunction with the mlcoa customer interfacing personnel, you will provide strategic direction and leadership through development and implementation of business development initiatives. Responsibilities will include assisting the business to meet financial performance and business objectives across mlcoa.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • To manage customer relationships and create new business opportunities from a national level and deliver a sustainable strategic approach to business development.
  • To work with the National Account and Sales Manager, to provide strategic direction and leadership across mlcoa through the development and implementation of sustainable and creative business and marketing development initiatives.
  • To support the growth of the organisation by assisting to meet financial and business objectives across mlcoa.
  • Manage strategic business partner relationships ensuring mlcoa commercial interests are maximised in the short and long term.
  • Create and manage sales opportunities, transitioning these into sustainable long-term business

Qualifications

To be successful for this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a new business development/ sales or related position.
  • Understanding of IME/ Medico Legal Services.
  • Proven track record of developing new business
  • Experience in marketing health services.
  • Tertiary degree or higher qualifications.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the Health, Financial or Service industry.
  • Sound knowledge of financial management and establishing a financial sales pipeline.
  • Experiencing preparing sales presentations, proposals and tenders.
  • Knowledge and understanding of customer management and marketing strategy.
