Job Description

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the QA team leader will be responsible for:

  • Provide Quality Assurance expertise to QA team focused on enhancing procedures and creating efficiencies
  • Responsible for maintaining oversight and guidance to the day-to day operations of the team
  • Individual and team goal setting and tracking
  • Support team members with additional training, side by side coaching and improvement plans
  • Liaise with specialists to discuss QA issues including customer complaints
  • Act as a single point of contact for client communication and quality escalations
  • Operate within agreed operating SLAs and confidentiality standards
  • Participates and leads process improvement projects. Participates in cross-functional teams
  • Assist in departmental quality reviews as appropriate

Qualifications

To be successful you will have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Highly motivated – takes initiative to solve problems
  • Can work well under pressure
  • Decision making skills; sound judgment

  • Ability to build strong long-term relationships
  • Demonstrated the ability to work independently and works with minimum supervision

  • Ability to think and act independently to resolve customer impacting issues

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing details reports production areas preferably in the medical industry, and a working knowledge of workers compensation or CTP insurance legislation. An operational background in Medico-Legal will also be seen as advantageous. Above all we are looking for a highly motivated, accountable and detail focused leader who wants to make a difference.
