Patrol Person

Job Description

You will take on a range of different tasks within the Protection Services Department.

• Apply recognized work and security standards
• Conduct allocated patrols or checkpoint duties
• Patrol on foot by bicycle or vehicle as applicable
• Gather information that could support risk management
• Monitor performance and enforce access controls
• Ensure that security tasks are completed to required quality standards
• When a security issue is observed, take appropriate action within procedures
• Effectively use allocated equipment such as radios and telephones

The position is inthe Protection Services Department at aB2 level reporting in to Senior Patrolperson

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Registered with the PSIRA on grade C

Additional Information

• Basic Computer Literacy will be advantageous
• Firearm Competency will be advantageous
• Driver’s license code 08 will be advantageous
• If successful, you will be required to take a Medical Fitness Test
