Just imagine where you can take your career!This position will join the newly created Operations Accounting Center of Excellence for North America Operations, located in Florence, South Carolina.Primary ResponsibilitiesLead transition of new accounting responsibilities to the Operations Accounting COE

Analyze the accounting flow of system transactions, identifying opportunities for more robust accounting processes

Provide in-depth analysis of financial performance and balance sheet fluctuations

Responsible for inventory management and analysis of Service Center and Modernization inventories

Support month end close activities

Interface with Otis Americas HQ Finance and Otis Service Center

Handle special projects and ad hoc reporting as required

Experience/QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum of 2 years of inventory or cost accounting experience

Strong analytical, technology and organization skills

Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills

Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects, programs and objectives

Must enjoy working in a team environment, be able to multi-task, and possess a solid work ethic

Must be available for limited travel, particularly during transition period

Must be able to work additional hours as needed due to time-sensitive deadlines

JDEdwards, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and PowerPoint knowledge a plus
